Lake Catholic Cougars (Mentor, OH) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH), 16-7 in a league battle.

The Cougars now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walsh Jesuit for a Region 5 battle on Wednesday, April 27. Lake Catholic will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 19-4 non-league loss to Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 4-6.

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 28. Gilmour Academy will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the battle with a 8-2 record after their 9-8 league win over Riverside (Painesville, OH).
