Illinois High School Lacrosse - Marist drops to Lincoln-Way Central

Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL), 14-10 in a non-league battle.

The Knights now have a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Normal Community for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 4. Lincoln-Way Central will clash with a Ironmen squad coming off a 13-7 non-league win over Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Ironmen record now stands at 6-3.

In their next game, the RedHawks clash with the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 30. Marist will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Porters come into the battle with a 13-0 record after their 16-2 league win over Plainfield Co-op (Plainfield, IL).
