The Grainger Grizzlies soccer team scored 8 points and limited the host Cherokee Chiefs to 1 in the Grizzlies non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Grizzlies face the Union County Patriots (Maynardville, TN) in a 2A District 2 contest, on Wednesday, April 27. Grainger will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to First Baptist Academy (Powell, TN).
The Chiefs now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Volunteer for a non-league contest on Thursday, April 28. Cherokee will face a Falcons team coming off a 10-1 league win over Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 4-4.
