Next, the Comets confront the Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA) in a Piedmont challenge, on Friday, April 29. Halifax County will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 6-0 league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).

The Cougars now possess a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dan River for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 28. Patrick County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Galileo (Danville, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.
