Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA), 3-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Lancers confront the Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA) in a National challenge, on Friday, April 29. Lewis will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record.
The Majors now possess a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Edison for a National challenge on Friday, April 29. Mount Vernon will confront a Eagles team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Justice (Falls Church, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-7.
