Tennessee High School Softball - Halls holds off Anderson County

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Halls Red Devils (Knoxville, TN) and the host Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN), witnessed Halls's softball squad tip Anderson County by a count of 4-2.

The Red Devils now sport a 18-6 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a 3A District 4 match on Wednesday, April 27. Halls will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 17-4.

With the loss, Anderson County moves to 10-11 on the season. The Mavericks host Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville, TN) to meet the Rams in a non-league match on Thursday, April 28. The Rams go into the match with a record of 10-15. Grace Christian Academy lost 8-6 in their recent league match against Lakeway Christian Academy (Morristown, TN)
