The Biggsville West Central Heat (Biggsville, IL) softball routed the host Galva Wildcats (Galva, IL), 16-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Heat (17-4) will now prepare for their bout against Macomb (Macomb, IL). The Bombers go into the non-league bout with a 14-3 record. In their last bout, Macomb notched a victory over Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Mercer County for a Lincoln Trail bout on Saturday, May 7.
