Ellensburg Bulldogs (Ellensburg, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host College Place Hawks (College Place, WA), 15-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ephrata for a 2A CWAC challenge on Saturday, April 30. Ellensburg will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Grandview (Grandview, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, College Place falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Hawks host Kiona-Benton (Benton City, WA) to battle the Bears in a 1A SCAC - East challenge on Saturday, April 30. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 6-2. Kiona-Benton won 17-5 in their recent league challenge against Wahluke (Mattawa, WA)
