Dallas County Hornets (Plantersville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Keith Bears (Orrville, AL), 10-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Selma for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 27. Dallas County will face a Saints squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Jefferson Davis (Montgomery, AL). The Saints record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Keith falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Greensboro (Greensboro, AL) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Greensboro won 24-6 in their recent league battle against Southside (Selma, AL)
