The Dr. Phillips Panthers softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Wekiva Mustangs to 5 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Dr. Phillips moves its record to 16-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Olympia (Orlando, FL) to clash with the Titans in a non-league game on Monday, May 2. The Titans come into the game with a record of 4-10. Olympia lost 22-0 in their recent league game against West Orange (Winter Garden, FL)
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the East River Falcons (Orlando, FL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 28. Wekiva will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 5-15 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Titusville (Titusville, FL).
