New Mexico High School Softball - Shiprock falls to Gallup

In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Gallup Bengals softball team scored a nice 22-1 win over the Shiprock Chieftains.
Coming up next, the Bengals battle the Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) in a 4A District 1 outing, on Thursday, April 28. Gallup will attempt to upgrade on its 17-7 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 16-8 record after their 16-4 league win over Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM).
The Chieftains (1-17) will now prepare for their outing against Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Patriots enter the 4A District 1 outing with a 11-13 record. In their last outing, Miyamura ran past Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM), 8-7, in a league outing.
