The Guntersville Wildcats softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting New Hope Indians to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Guntersville improves its record to 11-11 on the year. The Wildcats host Douglas (Douglas, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, April 28. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 24-6. Douglas won 7-2 in their recent non-league game against Appalachian (Oneonta, AL)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Madison County Tigers (Gurley, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 3. New Hope will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record.
