The Kings Mountain Mountaineers softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host South Point Red Raiders to 0 in the Mountaineers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Kings Mountain moves its record to 9-9 on the year. The Mountaineers host Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to play the Storm in a Big South 3A game on Thursday, April 28. The Storm come into the game with a record of 16-3. Stuart W. Cramer won 14-1 in their recent league game against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)

In their next game, the Red Raiders play the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 27. South Point will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Golden Lions come into the game with a 4-11 record after their 13-3 league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC).
