The Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA) softball nipped the visiting Penn Manor Comets (Millersville, PA), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Pioneers (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Conestoga Valley (Lancaster, PA). The Buckskins go into the Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 bout with a 3-6 record.
The Comets now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Hempfield for a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 1 bout on Wednesday, April 27.
