Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Machias Bulldogs (Machias, ME), 11-7 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Penobscot Valley for a Class D North challenge on Thursday, April 28.

With the loss, Machias falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Jonesport-Beals (Jonesport, ME) to face the Royals in a Class D North challenge on Friday, April 29. The Royals enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
