Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Blue Demons now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Northside for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. Maine East will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-8 league loss to Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Maine West falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Highland Park (Highland Park, IL) to face the Giants in a Central Suburban - North challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Giants enter the challenge with a record of 0-7. Highland Park lost 13-10 in their recent league challenge against Niles North (Skokie, IL)
