The Montgomery County Indians routed the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets softball squad by a final score of 13-3 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Indians (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Defenders go into the non-league battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, Bryan Station notched a victory over Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY), 16-7, in a non-league battle.
The Bluejackets now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Pendleton County for a District 38 battle on Thursday, April 28. Nicholas County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Boone County (Florence, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-6.
