North Carolina High School Softball - North Duplin bounces Rosewood

The North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) softball routed the visiting Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), 17-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Rebels (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Wildcats go into the Carolina 1A bout with a 5-9 record. In their last bout, Hobbton was routed by Union (Rose Hill, NC), 5-3, in a league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lakewood for a Carolina 1A bout on Thursday, April 28. Rosewood will confront a Leopards squad coming off a 21-1 league loss to Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Leopards record now stands at 3-11.
