The Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) softball the host Wellsville Eagles (Wellsville, KS), 5-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Chargers (8-4) will now prepare for their bout against Wellsville (Wellsville, KS). The Eagles go into the Pioneer bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Wellsville held off Baldwin (Baldwin, KS), 14-12, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, Wellsville falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS) to face the Chargers in a Pioneer challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Santa Fe Trail won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Burlington (Burlington, KS)
