Ohio High School Softball - Solon knocked off by Strongsville

In Tuesday's league contest, the Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Solon Comets (Solon, OH), by a margin of 18-8.

With the triumph, Strongsville moves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Mentor (Mentor, OH) to play the Cardinals in a Greater Cleveland contest on Wednesday, April 27. The Cardinals come into the contest with a record of 8-5. Mentor won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH)

In their next game, the Comets play the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs (Stow, OH) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 28. Solon will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 17-13 league win over Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH).
