The Apple Valley Eagles baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Eagan Wildcats to 7 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Burnsville (Burnsville, MN). The Blaze go into the South Suburban match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Burnsville was overwhelmed by Eastview (Apple Valley, MN), 18-3, in a league match.

The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish go into the South Suburban match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Rosemount edged Farmington (Farmington, MN), 8-0, in a league match.
