The Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans crushed the visiting Flinthills Mustangs baseball team by a count of 15-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Udall for a South Central Border bout on Thursday, May 4. Cedar Vale/Dexter will face a Eagles team coming off a 6-4 league loss to West Elk (Howard, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 9-6.
Next, the Mustangs face the South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] Outlaws (Caldwell, KS) in a South Central Border bout, on Monday, May 1. Flinthills will attempt to move on its 0-15 season record. The Outlaws enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 17-2 league loss to West Elk (Howard, KS).
