Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), 10-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, Havelock upgrades its record to 5-16 on the season. The Rams travel to South Central (Winterville, NC) to battle the Falcons in a Big East 3A/4A test on Monday, May 1. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 13-7. South Central won 8-4 in their recent non-league test against West Carteret (Morehead City, NC)

With the defeat, Dixon falls to 7-13 on the season. The Bulldogs host Croatan (Newport, NC) to battle the Cougars in a Coastal 3A test on Tuesday, May 2. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 10-12. Croatan won 6-1 in their recent league test against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC)
