New Mexico High School Baseball - Espanola Valley can't hold off Moriarty

In Wednesday's league game, the host Moriarty Pintos baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Espanola Valley Sundevils.
The Pintos (7-16) will now prepare for their game against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers go into the 4A District 2 game with a 9-14 record. In their last game, Taos was edged by Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 11-7, in a league game.
The Sundevils (3-17) will now prepare for their game against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes go into the 4A District 2 game with a 13-11 record. In their last game, Pojoaque Valley was edged by St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM), 4-2, in a non-league game.
