The Franklinton Rams baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Rocky Mount Gryphons to 1 in the Rams league victory on Wednesday.

The Rams (11-9) will now prepare for their match against Louisburg (Louisburg, NC). The Warriors go into the The Big East 2A/3A match with a 8-11 record. In their last match, Louisburg was overwhelmed by Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC), 4-2, in a league match.

The Gryphons (2-18) will now prepare for their match against Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 17-3 record. In their last match, Northern Nash edged Southern Nash (Bailey, NC), 15-3, in a league match.
