The Mira Loma Matadors baseball team (Sacramento, CA), was overwhelmed 23-2 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA)

The Patriots now hold a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rio Linda for a Golden Empire League outing on Thursday, April 27. Pioneer will confront a Knights team coming off a 10-2 league loss to Pioneer (Woodland, CA). The Knights record now stands at 6-11.
