In Wednesday's league game, the host Nonnewaug Chiefs baseball team scored a nice 12-1 victory over the Thomaston Bears.
The Chiefs (9-1) will now prepare for their game against Litchfield (Litchfield, CT). The Cowboys go into the Berkshire game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Litchfield overcame Gilbert (Winsted, CT), 9-2, in a league game.
The Bears (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans go into the Berkshire game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Shepaug Valley overcame Terryville (Terryville, CT), 17-4, in a league game.
