The Coronado Islanders volleyball team (Coronado, CA), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host High Tech SD Storm (San Diego, CA)

The Storm (17-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA). The Rattlers come into the City challenge with a 10-15 record. In their last challenge, Canyon Hills nudged Hoover (San Diego, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Islanders encounter the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 28. Coronado will attempt to move on its 14-17 season record. The Foothillers come into the challenge with a 17-9 record after their 3-2 league win over Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA).
