Virginia High School Lacrosse - Liberty sneaks past Orange County

April 26, 2023: Orange, VA 22960

The Liberty Eagles lacrosse team scored 13 points and held the host Orange County Fighting Hornets to 12 in the Eagles non-league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Handley (Winchester, VA). The Judges go into the Northwestern match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, Handley was tipped by Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA), 12-6, in a league outing.

With the defeat, Orange County drops to 4-5 on the season. The Fighting hornets host Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to battle the Patriots in a Jefferson outing on Tuesday, May 2. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 8-1. Albemarle won 19-2 in their recent league outing against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
