North Carolina High School Soccer - Atkins knocks off Southern Guilford

Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Camels confront the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) in a Mid-State 3A challenge, on Tuesday, May 2. Atkins will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 9-0 league loss to Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC).
The Storm now possess a 4-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ben L. Smith for a Mid-State 3A challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Southern Guilford will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-9.
