Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) and the host Mooresville Pioneers (Mooresville, IN), saw Franklin Community's baseball squad edge Mooresville by a count of 3-2.

The Pioneers now possess a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northview for a non-league battle on Friday, April 28. Mooresville will play a Knights squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Cascade (Clayton, IN). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
