Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Petaluma Trojans (Petaluma, CA), 13-8 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now sport a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Analy for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. Sonoma Valley will face a Tigers squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Maria Carrillo (Santa Rosa, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Petaluma falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 8-3. Rancho Cotate won 7-5 in their recent league challenge against Maria Carrillo (Santa Rosa, CA)
