The Maine-Endwell Spartans routed the host Binghamton Patriots softball squad by a final score of 23-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Spartans (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Union-Endicott (Endicott, NY). The Tigers go into the Section 4 Southern Tier - Metro battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Union-Endicott was routed by Vestal (Vestal, NY), 7-2, in a league battle.
The Patriots now possess a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Horseheads for a Section 4 Southern Tier - West battle on Thursday, April 27.
