Bishop's Knights (La Jolla, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Maranatha Christian Eagles (San Diego, CA), 13-12 in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Escondido Charter for a Coastal challenge on Thursday, April 27. Bishop's will face a White Tigers squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA). The White Tigers record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Maranatha Christian falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA) to face the Eagles in a Coastal challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. Tri-City Christian won 9-2 in their recent league challenge against Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA)
