Bloomfield Bombers (Bloomfield, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host South Seneca Falcons (Ovid, NY), 17-1 in a league challenge.

The Bombers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Honeoye for a Finger Lakes West challenge on Monday, May 1. Bloomfield will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-7 league loss to Dundee (Dundee, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, South Seneca falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Red Jacket (Shortsville, NY) to face the Indians in a Finger Lakes West challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Red Jacket lost 24-9 in their recent league challenge against Naples (Naples, NY)
