The Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers (Palestine, IL) softball the host Chrisman Cardinals (Chrisman, IL), 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Dugger Union (Dugger, IN). The Bulldogs go into the Southern Roads bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Dugger Union by Clay City (Clay City, IN), 8-2, in a non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Oakwood for a Vermilion Valley bout on Friday, April 28. Chrisman will confront a Comets squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN). The Comets record now stands at 5-14.
