The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH) and the host South Point Pointers (South Point, OH), saw Dawson-Bryant's softball squad achieve victory over South Point by a count of 12-3.

The Hornets now sport a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they host Portsmouth for a Ohio Valley match on Thursday, April 27. Dawson-Bryant will face a Trojans squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, South Point falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH) to face the Blue Devils in a Ohio Valley match on Friday, April 28. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 6-15. Gallia Academy lost 11-1 in their recent league match against Fairland (Proctorville, OH)
