California High School Softball - Prospect Del Mar

The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) and the visiting Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA), saw Prospect's softball squad nip Del Mar by a count of 6-3.

The Panthers now sport a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piedmont Hills for a Santa Teresa West match on Friday, April 28. Prospect will face a Pirates squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Overfelt (San Jose, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Del Mar falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Dons host Leigh (San Jose, CA) to face the Longhorns in a Santa Teresa West match on Friday, April 28. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 13-6. Leigh won 14-0 in their recent league test against Lincoln (San Jose, CA)
