ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars (Oneida, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL), 11-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Princeville for a Lincoln Trail challenge on Thursday, April 27. ROWVA/Williamsfield will battle a Princes squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL). The Princes record now stands at 5-14.

With the loss, Farmington falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Farmers travel to Brimfield (Brimfield, IL) to battle the Indians in a Prairieland challenge on Tuesday, May 2. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 11-2.
