Ohio High School Softball - Frontier holds off Fort Frye

The Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH) softball the host Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH), 6-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Cougars (7-5) will now prepare for their bout against Beallsville (Beallsville, OH). The Blue Devils go into the Ohio Valley Athletic A bout with a 4-10 record. In their last bout, Beallsville by River (Hannibal, OH), 10-5, in a non-league bout.

The Cadets now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Waterford for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 27. Fort Frye will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-3 league win over Federal Hocking (Stewart, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-10.
