The North Boone Vikings the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs softball squad by a count of 9-5 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Vikings (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Woodstock (Woodstock, IL). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Woodstock was routed by Hampshire (Hampshire, IL), 15-0, in a non-league battle.
