Pennsylvania High School Softball - Purchase Line knocked off by Homer-Center

In Wednesday's league contest, the Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), by a margin of 19-6.

With the triumph, Homer-Center moves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Wildcats host River Valley (Blairsville, PA) to play the Panthers in a contest on Thursday, April 27. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 5-7. River Valley won 5-3 in their recent league contest against Homer-Center (Homer City, PA)

In their next game, the Red Dragons play the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) in a Heritage contest, on Thursday, April 27. Purchase Line will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Stingers come into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois, PA).
