Massachusetts High School Softball - Ipswich bounces Rockport

The Ipswich Tigers routed the host Rockport Vikings softball squad by a count of 21-12 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Reading (North Reading, MA). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, North Reading topped Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA), 13-0, in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Newburyport for a non-league battle on Friday, April 28. Rockport will meet a Clippers squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA). The Clippers record now stands at 4-4.
