California High School Softball - Leigh bounces Lincoln

April 26, 2023: San Jose, CA 95126

Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA), 14-0 in a league challenge.

The Longhorns now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Del Mar for a Santa Teresa West challenge on Friday, April 28. Leigh will play a Dons team coming off a 6-3 league loss to Prospect (Saratoga, CA). The Dons record now stands at 7-5.

In their next game, the Lions play the Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA) in a Santa Teresa West contest, on Friday, April 28. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Royals come into the contest with a 0-9 record after their 15-1 league loss to Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA).
