Connecticut High School Softball - Nonnewaug can't hold off Thomaston

The Nonnewaug Chiefs softball team (Woodbury, CT), was tipped 5-4 in Wednesday's league test with the host Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT)

Coming up next, the Bears clash with the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) in a Berkshire test, on Friday, April 28. Thomaston will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 8-0 record after their 8-0 league win over Terryville (Terryville, CT).

The Chiefs (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Housatonic (Falls Village, CT). The Mountaineers come into the Berkshire test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Housatonic edged Wamogo Regional (Litchfield, CT), 9-4, in a league test.
