Washington High School Softball - Seattle Christian holds off Vashon Island

The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Seattle Christian Warriors (SeaTac, WA) and the visiting Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA), saw Seattle Christian's softball squad nip Vashon Island by a count of 7-5.

The Warriors now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Klahowya for a 1A Nisqually match on Friday, April 28. Seattle Christian will face a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.

With the defeat, Vashon Island drops to 0-7 on the year. The Pirates host Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA) to play the Vikings in a 1A Nisqually contest on Friday, April 28. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 9-2. Bellevue Christian lost 13-5 in their recent non-league contest against Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA)
