Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Bison now sport a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albany for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, April 28. Shaker will face a Falcons squad coming off a 9-5 league loss to Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 0-15.

With the loss, Shenendehowa falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Plainsmen travel to Columbia (East Greenbush, NY) to face the Blue Devils in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, April 28. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. Columbia lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Chatham (Chatham, NY)
