Michigan High School Softball - Walled Lake Northern bounces South Lyon

Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI), 17-5 in a league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mott for a Lakes Valley challenge on Thursday, April 27. Walled Lake Northern will face a Corsairs squad coming off a 20-4 non-league loss to Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI). The Corsairs record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, South Lyon drops to 5-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Mott (Waterford, MI) to clash with the Corsairs in a Lakes Valley game on Tuesday, May 2. The Corsairs come into the game with a record of 0-1.
