Triad Knights (Troy, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Highland for a Mississippi Valley challenge on Monday, May 1.

With the loss, Waterloo falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Wesclin (Trenton, IL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 13-5.
