The Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Bedford Bisons to 0 in the Mountaineers non-league victory on Friday.

The Mountaineers (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA). The Raiders go into the Laurel Highlands East match with a 11-1 record. In their last match, Bellefonte gained a win over Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA), 20-0, in a league match.

The Bisons (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Rams go into the Laurel Highlands West match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Richland was overwhelmed by Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA), 8-6, in a league match.
